Think of a prince, the son of a king. As a
child of the king, he has certain rights and responsibilities. He may not
always live up to those responsibilities, but that does not take away his
rights as a child of the king. He may disgrace himself and his king, but he is
still a child of the king. If he is secure in this identity, when trouble
comes, he knows the king will be there to rescue him, because he is a child of
the king. The king may chastise him but he will also remind him of his future
as a child of the king. The king
loves him, not what for he does, but for who he is. He is his child. When he
does wrong, the king is grieved and when he does good, the king is pleased. But
the reason the king loves him is because the prince belongs to the king and is
his heir. He never stops loving him no matter how displeased he may be. But is
ever so joyful when his son pleases him. But he loves him because he belongs to
him. Now realize that God is that king and you are that child. God’s
love is not dependent on our loving him. Nothing
we can do can make him love us more or love us less. God loves
us even when we don’t love him. That is his nature – LOVE. ~ We can
please him or we can displease him But he
will still love us either way. God loves
us even when we displease him. That is his nature – LOVE. ~ His rules
for us are not for him to feel better. They are
so we feel better. When we
follow his rules – our lives are blessed. ~ He does
not Need us. We Need Him. He wants
us to love him – knowing that we can never love him the way he loves us. For his
love is a perfect love, while ours is only a reciprocating love. ~ When we
share his word – it blesses the one hearing the word And it
blesses the one sharing the word. He does
not need us to share the word, but it blesses us for the sharing. ~ When we
praise God – it pleases him, but it blesses us more. For he
has said in his word, that if we don’t do it, the rocks will. Either we
can be blessed or the rocks will. ~ I am not
willing to let a rock get my blessing. Praise
the Lord God. Praise
the Lamb of God. ~ Thank you
Jesus for volunteering to be the Lamb. Thank you
God for giving the Lamb. Thank you
both for being will to shed the blood of the Lamb. ~ Jesus
suffered for being the Lamb. God
suffered while giving the Lamb. We are
blessed and saved by the blood of the Lamb. ~ Praise
God, Praise the Lamb. Praise
Jesus the Lamb of God. Thank you
Jesus for being my Savior.
